Sharon teaches online writing classes through UCLA extenions Writers' Program for anyone wishing to write from any life struggle, pain or trauma. She also leads a number of expressive writing groups for people living with cancer.

Writing to Heal, Part II: From Life to Literature. A ten-week online writing course designed to take you from the personal narrative, written for one's self to polished non-fiction writing . II. WRITING THROUGH CANCER: Expressive Writing Workshops
Sharon's writing workshops for anyone living with cancer are offered online and in the San Diego and SF Bay areas.
Writing Through Cancer, Online writing prompts for men and women living with cancer. A collection of weekly writing prompts, each featured for one month, available anytime at: www.writingthroughcancer.com. All prompts are created by Sharon and available to anyone who wants some inspiration to write from their experience of cancer.
Stanford Cancer Center: Words that Heal: A Writing Workshop for Men & Women Living with Cancer, offered the first Wednesday of every month from 2 until 5 p.m. Stanford Cancer Center, Stanford Medical Center, Palo Alto CA.
