Welcome to my website. You've probably found your way here for any number of reasons. Maybe it was accidental, a late night internet browse that brought you here, or more likely, you have an interest in writing. Perhaps you're just beginning to write and looking for a class or workshop. Maybe you have a writing project in mind but need some additional support to turn it into something that's publishable. Or, perhaps you want to use writing as a way of making sense of life's hardships, and you'd like to do more than limit yourself to journal entries.
Whatever your goal, writing is an art form that belongs to everyone. There are many reasons to write and just as many ways to do it. A wealth of resources exists for the budding writer, including many of us whose livelihood is intimately bound up in writing and teaching others our craft. I'm one of those--a writer, author and teacher. I invite you to explore my site and learn a little more about my work, books, workshops, coaching for new writers, and me.
Best wishes, Sharon Bray
Sharon ... is an astonishing writer, facilitator, and innovator in the field of TLA (Transformative Language Arts). Her excellent books on writing through illness are superb and used by many of my students as well as myself in facilitating workshops for people living with cancer and other serious illness. Sharon is a true visionary, a marvelously moving and insightful writer, and a mentor-facilitator.
